Andrea Bed & Breakfast is located in a refined neighborhood in west
Salem in the middle of  the Northern Oregon Wine Region, one hour to Portland,
4 miles to downtown Salem and 2 blocks to the only major theatre in Salem, The Pentacle.

Travel writers say that Renate Ellam is kind, smart, witty and involved in
current events.

She is not new to the Bed and Breakfast business. In her prize winning
Medford B&B she offered quality conversation and forward thinking, hearty
laughs, as well as rose bushes and chocolates along with wonderful food.

Also featured on the cover of Sunset magazine. She had a steady 3 x plus
presence on the BEST OF THE NORTHWEST list several years in a row.

Here at Andrea Bed & Breakfast Inn nothing of these good things will
have changed but the architecture which will astound you. The inn is more elegant
and different, more Zen oriented, the rooms are larger and very beautiful Library and curved walls will make you love it here. There are seven acres of walking on private land. It is a relaxing getaway with outstanding views of
the Willamette Valley and what the surroundings have to offer.

Renate is a little older but welcomes her old and new guests! Wilcommen which means welcome with gusto!

It is only a short distance to the state capitol with its Universities and Cherry blossoms.

Short day trips to; the Oregon Garden in Silverton, sandy beaches in  Lincoln City close by, gambling at the
Spirit Mountain Casino, the biggest draw in the state. The aviation museum features Howard Hughes’ Spruce Goose, which appeared in the movie Aviator.

There are wonderful gourmet restaurants in town, Northern Oregon Wine Region all around, also river rides.

Testimonials:

"A visit to our capital city is a treat, especially when its combined with a tour of the surrounding wine country. One delightful place to stay is the Andrea Bed and Breakfast, a boutique B&B. With the talented Renate Ellam as your innkeeper...who is an experienced Cordon Bleu chef. This place is bathed in light and beauty with more than100 windows and French doors that allow vistas of the beautiful gardens. Original artwork and classy antiques abound in the public areas...gourmet breakfasts are served in the elegant dining room..." Each room comes with its own private bath - the upstairs master suite comes with an all Greek marble bathroom and a Jacuzzi. There is also
a steam bath for one of the two downstairs suites.

Renate, we've enjoyed our stay at the Andrea. The simply stated elegance of the house and beauty of the gardens helped make our weekend truly relaxing and peaceful. Maybe the word that best describes our experience, dining and engaging conversations as charming. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and we are looking forward
to our return. respectfully yours, Dale and Cyndee Owens.
